Jim Jones plans to take over the world this year. The Dipset Capo has a Byrd Gang album coming out next month followed by his next major label album and finally a documentary on his life and career . Jim Jones will join fellow Byrd Gang members Chink Santana, Sandman, Oshy, NOE and Mel Matrix to release their new single "Splash" from their M.O.B. (members Of Byrd Gang) album out on June 24th on his Byrd Gang imprint with Asylum Records.
Jones' solo album is set to hit stores on August 19th through his new major deal with Columbia Records, which we previously reported Dame Dash is calling a "classic." "His new album, I think he might have come up with a classic, and that's me saying that," Dash said.
Damon Dash is also help Jones with the new documentary called "The True Jim Jones Documentary," which traces his life from his early days as a CatholicSchool kid from the Harlem streets to a "full blown superstar and business mogul."

The record that is called Da Hood HomeGirl Girl, will hit stores on July 22nd via an independent label called Dime A Dozen Entertainment. The album will feature 16-tracks that include features with Pastor Troy, Murphy Lee, and Gangsta Boo.
